Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a federally funded initiative that provides free fresh fruits and vegetables to students at Clear Creek Elementary during the school day for the 2025–2026 school year.

The goal of FFVP is to:

  • Introduce students to new and unique produce
  • Encourage healthier eating habits
  • Support a positive school nutrition environment

Starting in October, MCCSC Child Nutrition will provide an additional fruit or vegetable snack at least two times per week, served outside of regular breakfast and lunch times.
